Frictionless Start of Recording
TL;DR: how native macOS screen capturer works. I just hist SHIFT+CMD+5, immediately click anywhere in screen (or select a window/area), and the dialog immediately disappears and the recording starts. No dialogs, no timers, no effects. It’s just what I really love and appreciate! Current pain point, for example, is that after I start recording, the timer pill still appears on screen, and focus of the currently active window is lost. That’s not the case with native macOS screen capture.

Where is your support page??
I got a problem with my licence key. Smooth capture asks me to input the key (even though i already did that right after purchasing). When i enter the key an press activate the modal won´t disappear. So right now i can´t do shit because it wont let me export my recordings. If somebody reads this…plz help 🙃

Timeline Editor is faulty
Everytime i want to adjust the lenght of a clip by pulling the edge with the mouse the timing and the automated cursor recording gets messed up (Zooms and etc.) Please have a look at it and fix it. It´s a bit tiring to not be able to shorten the clips before exporting 😅

Custom Presets/Profiles
It would be really neat if there was an option to save my settings in a custom profile. Now i always have to manually dial in the settings for each new recording. On Windows i´m using “FocuSee” and they have that feature. Please make it happen 🙏

gif export output is so bad
export to video and use https://www.canva.com/features/mp4-to-gif-converter/ to convert to gif. please check what is the different and improve it.

A page to see all project and open/delete them
As now I need to go to open project and click open it . It is nice to have a page where we can see all project and open or delete them from here . the project should have some info like length, size ,…, as now it is ok to hard code it mean don’t need to update when user move the file to another folder,… later we can have feature like scan folder to update the file info but it canbe done later.
